Wikipedia protest

Reports buzzing all around the web are stating that Wikipedia will be going on strike for 24 hours in protest of America’s proposed anti piracy laws.
The blackout which will happen on Wednesday along with news site reddit and blog Boing Boing.

Jimmy Wales, wikipedia’s founder stated, “the point is the bill is so over broad and so badly written that it’s going to impact all kinds of things that, you know, don’t have anything to do with stopping piracy.”

This will be the site’s first ever public protest.
