Yamaha has announced its latest SuperJet, the stand up jet ski with a three-cylinder four-stroke TR1 engine. Yamaha has been building stand up jet skis for over 30 years, not only for recreational purposes but creating a race series in the process.
Stand up jet skis aren’t the easiest machines to get to grips with from the off, so Yamaha has included a special ‘L’ mode that reduces the peak engine performance to 35 knots allowing novice riders to perfect their craft before cranking up the power output.
The hull, based on a wider and more stable design, matched with a spring assisted steering pole and handlebars allows the riders to get the natural forward leaning position, the best stance for high speed riding and turning.
The SuperJet is all-white with minimal black markings, perfect for an owner to customise to match their yacht or favourite race colours. The SuperJet is built for a single rider so it is a perfect toy to on a yacht or simply for an owner to get away from the stress of the day and let the waves wash the troubles away.
